Around China will bring you eleven Olympic special editions featuring some Chinese Olympians from years past. we’ll meet someone who, as a 20-year-old, made his name in the basketball competition at the 2000 Olympics – Yao Ming. Then we’ll talk to Xu Haifeng, who will for ever be associated with shooting, and China’s first ever Olympic gold medal. We’ll also hear the story of the little girl whose dream of becoming a table tennis champion would eventually come true.
